One-Stop Scholarships

Established in 1997 by Gamma Psi Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International to graduating high school seniors or past graduates from Elkin High School in Elkin, NC, Forbush and Starmount high schools in Yadkin County, NC, and Yadkin Early College in Yadkin County, NC, who will pursue a degree in education

Established in 2009 by Robert J. Gfeller, Jr., and Lisa Y. Gfeller to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors from R.J. Reynolds High School, who are active in the Reynolds athletics program and who exemplify the spirit, passion, and character of their son, Matthew Gfeller.

The Mike and Debbie Rubin Scholarship was established by Mike and Debbie Rubin in 2020.  The Rubins have generously supported Forsyth County students since 2015 through two scholarship funds at the Foundation, both targeting first generation college and minority students.  They have an abiding interest in higher education and have each pursued additional college degrees during their retirement years.

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarships to students in Forsyth County, NC who demonstrate financial need and are seeking a post-secondary degree from a college/university.

Established in 2005 through the estate of Spencer Waggoner to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attend a Forsyth County high school

Established in 2017 by the North Carolina Fine Wines Society to provide scholarships for traditional and non-traditional age applicants who are pursuing a degree in enology, viticulture, fermentation, or hospitality from an accredited NC college or university

Established in 1985 by Roby E. Taylor to provide scholarships to NC residents seeking a degree in a healthcare field

Established in 2002 by Orthopaedic Specialists of the Carolinas to provide scholarships to Forsyth County residents who are pursuing nursing degrees

Established in 1993 by the estates of Otis and Genevieve Parrish to provide scholarships to traditional and non-traditional age students who are pursuing degrees from Wake Forest University or Salem College

Established in 2011 by Novant Health, Inc., in honor of Paul Wiles, to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will pursue careers in a clinical medical field, whose parent(s) are full-time vested employees of Novant Health Inc.

Established in 2005 by the Pfafftown Jaycees to provide scholarships for Forsyth County residents pursuing nursing degrees at Forsyth Technical Community College

The purpose of the Fund is to provide scholarships for female African-American students seeking post-secondary opportunities and are graduating high school seniors from a Forsyth County high school and reside in the Foundation’s service area of Davie, Davidson, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, or Yadkin counties.

Established in 1991 by Jimmie R. Hutchens and Bruce Matthews' friends and family, in memory of Mr. Matthews, to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who attended Courtney Elementary School in Yadkin County, NC for at least four years

Established in 1998 by R.J. Reynolds High School Class of 1968, in memory of all deceased members of the class of 1968, to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors at R.J. Reynolds High School.

Established in 2006 by Hessie Waters Church, family and friends, in memory of Ray S. Church, to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Elkin High School in Elkin, NC
