We offer three separate grant programs supporting professional development for teachers in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, the Mount Airy City Schools, and the Wilkes County Schools.
Grants, in amounts which vary by program, are made through a competitive process and support a variety of professional development opportunities for teaching staff, with the ultimate goal of improving the classroom experience for their students.
These grant programs have been made possible by generous donors committed to improving professional development opportunities for educators in our region’s schools.
Grants in amounts of up to $2,500 are available for professional growth and enrichment opportunities for teachers, guidance counselors, curriculum coordinators, media coordinators, and other educators in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
These grants for professional development opportunities support educators and administrators employed by Mount Airy City Schools or Millennium Charter Academy.
The C.B. Eller Education Fund supports grants of up to $1,500 to improve the quality of education in Wilkes County by providing professional growth opportunities for public school teachers.
