Improving Our Systems to Better Support You

New online Portals for Donors and Nonprofit Partners

We’re thrilled to be launching a new Fund Portal and Grants Portal so our donors and nonprofit partners can spend less time navigating software and more time supporting our community. This change is the result of feedback we’ve heard directly from partners like you. Thank you for trusting us enough to share your concerns and ideas so we can better support you!

We are migrating from Blackbaud to Foundant, a cloud-based software that is proudly used by more than 75% of community foundations across the country. This will allow our staff to more efficiently and effectively serve you, making your interactions with us smoother and more intuitive.

Our intent is to make this switch as seamless as possible for you. Below, you’ll find important information that will be updated as the transition is made, and new services are introduced.

KEY DATES & INFORMATION

FUNDHOLDER FAQS

What should I do to prepare for the Fund Portal blackout period?

Rest assured that our staff are standing by to answer your questions and make the transition as seamless as possible for you.

Here's two things we suggest doing now to ease the transition:
  1. Download any fund statements that you would like to reference while the portal is temporarily down
  2. Plan to submit any time-sensitive donor-advised grant recommendations by 5:00 PM on August 21 to ensure minimal delays

During the fund portal blackout period beginning August 22, you will still be able to access your fund balance, grant history, and submit donor-advised grant recommendations by contacting our staff. Please email requests to donorhelp@wsfoundation.org or call (336) 725-2382.

When will I learn more about the new Fund Portal?

In the coming weeks there will be opportunities to walk through the new features with our staff. Keep an eye on your email inbox for meeting times, tutorials, and other details to make your new user experience great!

How will I be able to access the new portal?

When the new portal launches in September, you will receive emailed instructions for your first-time log in.
