We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new Fund Portal and Grants Portal so our donors and nonprofit partners can spend less time navigating software and more time supporting our community. This change is the result of feedback we’ve heard directly from partners like you. Thank you for trusting us enough to share your concerns and ideas so we can better support you!
This summer we migrated from Blackbaud to Foundant, a cloud-based software that is proudly used by more than 75% of community foundations across the country. This will allow our staff to more efficiently and effectively serve you, making your interactions with us smoother and more intuitive.
Our intent is to make this switch as seamless as possible for you. Below, you’ll find important information on how to access these new services.
How do I log in for the first time?
Visit https://wsfdn.fcsuite.com/erp/portal to access your account for the first time. We have found that using Google Chrome as your browser to log-in typically provides the best user-experience.
After clicking on the link, you will be directed to a page where you will be asked to enter your email address:
After entering your email address and clicking “LOGIN”, a message will prompt you to check your email for a 6-digit Winston-Salem Foundation verification code. Enter the code and click “Login” to start. Be sure to also check your spam folder for this email if not in your inbox (the message will come from "no-reply@fcsuite.com").
If you login and do not see your Fund details, we'll need to ensure your email address is updated in our system. You can contact our staff directly at donorhelp@wsfoundation.org or (336) 607-5518 to receive assistance.
How do I update my username/password?
You can access the portal anytime using your email address and a newly generated 6-digit code combination. Alternatively, you can set up a permanent username and password for easier access. If you would like to set up a permanent username and password, follow these steps:
Click on “Profile” in the upper-right corner of the screen (determine a starting screen)
Next, click “Security” on the left side of the screen
Click “ADD USERNAME/PASSWORD” to create a unique login
You can also change your username and/or password on this screen any time after setting the initial username and password. When creating a password, we recommend using random words, capital letters, numbers and/or special characters to keep your account secure. Please record your password and store it somewhere you will remember, as Winston-Salem Foundation staff cannot access your password. Should you forget your password, you can reset it on the Fund Portal Login page by clicking on the "Forgot Password?" link.
NOTE: After five unsuccessful login attempts, you will be locked out of the Fund Portal. If this happens, please contact our Development and Donor Services team for assistance.
Can you guide me through how to use the new Fund Portal?

We would be delighted to show you the newest features and the functionality of this new software!
Do I need to create a new account in the Grants Portal?
Yes. As of July 15, 2024, everyone will need to complete the registration process to create a new account and logon credentials in the Grants Portal. Please follow the prompts and reference these online instructions.
