The Bryson Hall "Power for the People" Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 in memory of Bryson Hall by his family. The scholarship will provide awards in the amount of $1,000 for students who will pursue an Electrical Systems Technology diploma at Forsyth Technical Community College.
The Carl R., Mary G. and Mary Carol Sapp Scholarship Trust was established by the estate of Mary Carol Sapp in 2018 to provide scholarships to students who attend or attended Forsyth County high schools, and who reside in the Foundation's service area.
The Carolyn Tate Scholarship was established in 2024 by the estate of Dr. David Tate in memory of his first wife, Carolyn Rinker Tate. The scholarship will provide non-renewing scholarships to students (traditional or non-traditional age) who will attend Salem College, and who are seeking careers in early childhood education. In the event there are no qualified applicants from Salem College, students from other colleges in Forsyth County who are seeking careers in early childhood education may be considered.
Established in 2021 by Clark Chavous to provide scholarships to African American students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities in North Carolina.
The Cole Weaver "Shine Bright" Scholarship was established by his parents, Kate and Chris Weaver, his sister, Ella Weaver, family, and friends in November 2023 to provide scholarships to Forsyth County, NC residents enrolled in a post-secondary institution seeking a two or four-year degree, diploma, or certificate.
