The Winston-Salem Foundation welcomes Vivian Pérez Chandler to The Winston-Salem Foundation Committee, the Foundation’s primary governing body.
Vivian is executive director of the Asset Building Coalition of Forsyth County. She is also founder and CEO of Perez Chandler Communications and Consulting, supporting organizations and community colleges’ work with the Latinx, undocumented, and DACAmented communities. She is a Guatemalan native and former undocumented and DACAmented individual. Vivian serves as a commissioner for the Housing Authority of Winston-Salem and as a board member for Twin City Development Foundation. Previous board service includes Governor’s Advisory Council on Hispanic/Latino Affairs, Love Out Loud, and others.
The Foundation is most appreciative of the leadership of Oscar Santos who rotated off the Committee in December, as well as the five-year board service of Jeff Lindsay, who accepted new employment in Chapel Hill, NC.
