Announcing New Staff

Quentin Gunter joined our staff in March as Director, People and Culture to manage all aspects of human resources including employee relations, organizational development, and performance management. He brings experience in human resources, recently serving in the Human Resources and Equal Employment Opportunity departments at Winston-Salem State University. Quentin holds a Master’s in Organizational Management and a Bachelors in Human Resource Management from Ashford University. Welcome to the team, Quentin!

In March, Stephanie Carpenter joined the Foundation as Grants Manager. In this role, she will support the Community Investment Department by managing databases and grantmaking information. She brings experience in the nonprofit sector and educational publishing, especially in managing complex projects and collaborating across teams. Steph holds a Master’s in English from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from William Jewell College. We’re excited to have her join our staff!
