Non-Endowed Advised Funds

A non-endowed advised fund allow your clients to support the causes and organizations that they care about. Donors typically use this type of fund to expedite their annual giving to nonprofits or to become more familiar with the Foundation.

Once a fund is established using cash or stock, grants may be recommended to the nonprofit organizations of the donor's choice without geographic restrictions. The grants will be made in the name of the fund or, if preferred,  anonymously. The Winston-Salem Foundation ensures that grant recipients meet accepted criteria for being charitable organizations and are able to fulfill the donor's expectations for the use of the grants.
