1. Who are/were your role models for "giving back" to your community and how did they influence you?
No response

2. What issues impacting women & girls are you most passionate about? Do you have any personal connection to any of these issues?
Education, beginning at an early age, to catch children up to their classmates who had a head start from extra curricular activites, parents who read to them often, etc.

3. What would you tell other women and girls about The Women's Fund to encourage them to get involved?
This is democracy at its finest....women helping women, and children. And not only the wealthy women who are seasoned philanthropists, but nearly anyone can participate. That participation is so much more than sending in a check. Everyone has a chance to be an integral part of the grant process, and everyone has an equal voice in the decisions as to which programs receive financial support. How unique in this world, yet how obviously perfect!

4. Tell us a little bit about yourself:
After designing kitchens and baths for 25 years, I am shifting some of that passion into helping women in their 50's and 60" live healthier and happier lives......often by spending more time in the kitchen creating food that makes their bodies jump for joy. I have volunteered as a children's advocate in the courts, as a big sister through Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and now with Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center. I love spending time with my three grown children in the hills or coast in San Fransisco where they live, bicycling, kayaking, and travelling.
